The Ethel Cain Cinematic Universe, also referred to as the Ethel Cain Universe or simply the Lore, is a multimedia project by Ethel Cain consisting of three albums, three books, and three movies that are about the lives of three women in the Cain family – the preacher’s daughter, the preacher’s wife, and the preacher’s mother – and how their lives connect through generational trauma, Southern Baptistism, and Southern Gothic tradition/culture.

Chapter I: Preacher's Daughter[]
In the first chapter of the lore, we meet Ethel Cain; which is the protagonist. She runs away from home and meets Isiah; which then they became lovers but Isiah tricks her into using substances and soon kills & cannibalizes Ethel.
Paragraph: Willoughby Tucker, I'll Always Love You[]
This album is set before Preacher's Daughter in the timeline and will cover Ethel's high school years. It is specifically about the relationship she had with her boyfriend Willoughby Tucker, and her relationship with her friend Janie. It will be released in August of 2025.
